Red Gum Tree removal Broadbeach
Client – A. Blight
Location – Broadbeach
Unfortunately for our client one of their much-loved gum trees had developed major decay in its stem. A tree disease known as heartwood. This combined with storm damage to the canopy made the tree unsafe and at risk of total failure. The only option to ensure the safety of their home was to engage an Arborist to undertake the red gum tree removal.
Gum trees are protected and require council consent before they can be removed. An application was made to the city of Gold Coast, sighting the identified structural issues with the tree. Once our application had been approved, our customer support team worked with the client to arrange a suitable date for their red gum tree removal.
The tree was situated next to a pool, surrounded by an established garden, down the back of a property, overlooking a canal. Our crew were working with a large tree, in a small area over water. Just the type of job to put our crews skills to the test. Our crews expertise, methodical approach and great team work saw this tree safely felled and debris removed with minimal disturbance to the surrounding area. If it weren’t for the stump left behind (stump left high at client’s request) you would have never known the tree was there.
Safety has been restored to this clients garden, along with some impressive water views. Our client was more than impressed by the care our crew showed when felling these large heavy tree branches. They carefully worked around garden beds, surrounding trees and garden furniture, ensuring no damage occurred. If you have a large tree in a small space that needs removal, speak to our team.
