Frontier Tree Services FAQ’s

Frontier Tree Services is the expert Tree Services company on the Gold Coast, providing specialised tree care for over 30 years. If you have a query or concern about trees or vegetation on your property, check out our Tree Maintenance FAQs below or call us for expert advice.

Frontier Tree Services combines qualified arborists, professional equipment, extensive industry experience and comprehensive insurance to complete tree removals safely and efficiently. Every job is assessed before work begins so we can determine the safest removal method while minimising impact on your home, gardens and surrounding property.

Yes. Frontier Tree Services has an AQF Level 5 qualified arborist for consultancy and Arborist Reports, along with a team of AQF L3 qualified climbing arborists completing pruning and removal works. This means you’re getting professional tree advice based on arboricultural knowledge, not simply someone who knows how to cut down a tree.

A qualified arborist is trained in tree identification, health, structure, pruning and safe tree removal. A tree lopper may have experience cutting trees but doesn’t necessarily hold formal arboricultural qualifications. Frontier recommends correct pruning techniques rather than indiscriminate lopping to achieve the best long-term result for your trees.

If you’re searching for tree lopping Gold Coast, what you most likely need is professional tree pruning. Rather than cutting branches mid-limb, our arborists use appropriate pruning techniques to manage canopy size, clearance and structure while considering the ongoing health of your tree.

The cost of tree removal on the Gold Coast depends on the tree’s size, species, condition, location, access and complexity of the removal. Frontier Tree Services provides free, no-obligation quotes, allowing us to assess the tree and provide a clear price based on the work required.

It depends on the tree and your property. Gold Coast tree removal regulations can vary depending on factors such as vegetation protection, property size and location. Our arborist can identify your tree, advise whether approval is likely to be required and assist with the council application process where necessary.

Yes. Frontier Tree Services carries $20 million Public Liability Insurance and up to $2 million Professional Indemnity Cover, with employees covered under WorkCover. Using an appropriately qualified and insured tree company is particularly important when working with large trees around homes, neighbouring properties and infrastructure.

Yes. Our climbing arborists are trained to safely dismantle trees in confined and difficult locations using specialised climbing, rigging and lowering techniques. Where climbing isn’t appropriate, machinery such as EWPs and other specialised equipment can be used to provide safe access and controlled removal.

Trees are large, heavy structures and incorrect pruning or removal can cause property damage, personal injury or long-term damage to the tree. A qualified arborist understands tree structure and biomechanics and can determine the appropriate method for pruning, maintaining or safely removing your tree.

Frontier Tree Services isn’t simply a tree cutting service. We provide qualified arboricultural advice from assessment through to completion, with experienced arborists, professional safety procedures and comprehensive insurance. Whether your tree needs pruning, removal or further assessment, we’ll recommend the solution that’s appropriate for the tree, your property and what you’re trying to achieve, not just the quickest option.
